While cruising Montreal streets, photographs were surreptitiously taken commando-style of both male and female passersby. The zoom-aim was directed at denim crotches. These transparencies were projected onto denim and rephotographed with macro lens, and then those photos printed and laminate-mounted to canvas to echo the texture of denim.
These crotch-shots were exhibited in Vancouver at the Coburg Gallery in 1987, and then again at The Power Plant in Toronto in 1989.
